I am a Nigerian, I got a Job with an NGO in Kenya, they sent the alien form to me demanding a processing fee of USD $300. and they said it will be ready by 15 September. please I want to know if this is a scam and should I send the money
Dear Hope,
Thank you for contacting us. All immigration processing fees can be found via fns.immigration.go.ke or immigration.go.ke. The immigration processing fee for an Alien ID is ksh2050. Perhaps they are charging you for their services to process your alien ID on your behalf. Clarify with the NGO what all the charges are for and why. Show them that you are aware of the immigration processing fees for an Alien ID.

hi.. i got alien card but
when im appying driving license throw online
its showing ur id was not valid… i dnt knw what is tha reason… can u help me
Thank you for contacting us. Your Alien ID may not have been synced into the ecitizen system. Visit the third floor at Nyayo House (turn left on the third floor) to have your Alien ID verified. After a few days, you should be in a position to apply for the driver’s license.
I am a Kenyan citizen living in Canada. I have a Kenyan driver’s License but I have no national ID. I used my passport to register for my drivers license.
I am unable to register with eCitizen because I do not have an ID.
Is there any way I can renew my drivers license using my passport? as of now I am unable to travel back to complete the process of getting an ID.
I currently have a Kenyan passport but a foreign ID.
Please advise.
Thank you.
Dear Adam,
Thank you for contacting us. The new online system requires an ID, not a passport, to renew driver’s licenses. Since you do not have a national ID, you can use your foreign ID (Alien ID) to renew your driver’s license. You will have to approach the renewal procedure as a foreigner.
I was in kenya 5 years back and then left the country again I came back and joined in a company. I got the workpermit. I want to get the alien card but I don’t have the previous one. what to do. Is it necessary to have the old alien card. I don’t have copy also. Pl advice.
Dear Ragu,
Thank you for contacting us. You can make a fresh Alien application without the copy of the old card. Fortunately, your file number is the same number that will be used for all your Alien Cards. Nyayo House, should have you logged into their file system. If they need a copy of the old card, they should be in a position to retrieve that information. It is something that you should not need to be concerned about. Apply online as a new Alien application, rather than a renewal.

Thanks, You say that the Alien I.d lasts for Two years how…?
I got mine and it expires the same day with my Vis’ts Visa permit…
Y, and yet I paid the money for it to last for two year…
Advice me please am Confused…
How did you make it… Will it be remain in system for two years as I registered or What?
Hi Daniel, Alien ID’s are given for the same duration of the document you are receiving from Immigration. Alien Id’s are given when 1) you are renewing a 3 month visitor visa, 2) Upon Approval of an Entry Permit, or 3) Upon approval of a Pass. The reason your Alien ID expired the same day as your visitor’s visa is because you automatically received an Alien Id when you renewed your Visitor Visa. In order to get an Alien ID for 2 years, you must apply for either a 2 year Entry Permit or a 2 year Pass (Alien ID’s are NOT given for Special Passes). To see the list of Entry Permits that you can apply for, visit this page; https://fathershandltd.com/about-us-2/entry-permits/ To see the list of Passes, visit this page; https://fathershandltd.com/about-us-2/passes/ For future queries, feel free to reach us directly at info@fathershandltd.com

Hi,
we applied for an Alien card on February,25 2016 but its not yet out and yet we need to apply for the KRA PIN certificate.what do I do
Dear Shapayah,
Thank you for contacting us. You could visit the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) office, within the Foreign Nationals department, to inquire about the progress of your card. Usually, NSSF prints the cards and sends them to Nyayo House. Additionally, we were informed that the machine used to print the cards was being updated. This could be the cause of the delay. If this is still the case, you may have to keep waiting until the machine is ready for use. If you would like our assistance through this process, kindly send us an email and we will inform you of our charges.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
hi i have alien but i cannot find in the sistem what must i do
Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting us. Go to the third floor at Nyayo House, towards the offices on the left, and ask the officers there for assistance. This is where the issue will be rectified. It should appear on the ecitizen online system between 1-2 weeks.
If you have any further queries, send an email to info@fathershandltd.com

My wife’s Indian pass port is expiring in Feb 2016 and aliens is expiring this month pls advise
Dear Sunil,
Thank you for contacting us. I would like further details from you so that I can understand your case better and assist you further. However, from the information you have provided, it appears that your wife’s Alien is expiring due to her current permit also expiring. An Alien Card is usually given to individuals for the same duration of their permit. In order for your wife to renew her Alien Card, she will need to renew her permit so that she can be permitted to renew her Alien ID. Kindly send an email to info@fathershandltd.com to send your further queries.
i want to ask how am i supposed to know if my alien is in the system
Dear Shahrooh,
Thank you for contacting us. One method of finding out whether your Alien ID is in the system is by registering a foreign resident account online via this link; https://account.ecitizen.go.ke/register
If your Alien ID is in the system, it will be recognized, allowing you to apply for the various services on ecitizen. Let us know if you have any further queries.
What if one couldn’t apply for alien card even though he/she stayed in Kenya for more than 5 months after getting extension to the tourist visa. Is it possible to apply for it after 5 months during the validity of the tourist visa to avoid any problem on leaving the country? Please advise.
Dear Sir/Madam,
When you go for extension of your visa, that is when they automatically register you for your Alien Id. So you have actually been registered. The ID card arrives after 1 month so if you go to Nyayo House, the card might be ready. Note that the ID card will only last as long as your visa. THE ID CARD GIVES YOU NO LEGALITY TO REMAIN IN THE COUNTRY. Your tourist visa is what gives you legality to remain in the country so you must leave Kenya BEFORE your visa expires in order to avoid trouble at the airport. Note that immigration is no longer renewing tourist visas past 6 months.
